"It's not my job."

That's a line we hear often. And if not say it out loud ourselves, at least think in our heads just as often.

A lot of companies try to articulate what a sense of ownership in their employees means. 

However, the simplest articulation is probably to say that it's the opposite of "It's not my job".

When you're an owner, it's always your job. 

The buck stops with you.
