Most of us pay a part of our income to the government as tax. While we may not particularly like the fact that we have to do it, we accept it as a part of our lives that we can't change and we live with it.

The situation that we find ourselves in in terms of the lockdown is the equivalent of having a Covid Tax. We can moan about it all we want, but it is likely to be around for a while. The sooner we embrace that and learn how to be productive and get things done despite that, the better.

Otherwise, we will pay the tax anyway, but then our finances run amok because we haven't planned to pay the tax.
